My neighbour has Bamboo Trees growing in her garden and they are spreading over to mine, I have shoots coming through the ground, is there a easy way to stop them shooting up without me having to dig them out which I wont be able to do as the small part of earth they are coming through I have a lot of other plants in there and I don't want to disturb them, can I out anything on or down the new shoots that will stop them?

I agree with Pam, unfortunately. You are going to have to dig a physical barrier down into the ground at the edge of your property. It will need to go down several feet to stop the roots coming through. If you and your neighbour are on good terms you could also try talking to them and explaining what is happening.

I think you need a physical barrier which may be easier said than done.
I hope someone could say if weed killer would affect the bamboo belonging to your neighbour
