I want to grow some alpines that have their main flowering during the summer months. Apart from the ubiquitous Campanula can anyone suggest other alpines that have their main flowering during the above period. Some yellow blooming alpines would be especially welcome.

Hello Bendipa, may I suggest a little book which is quite easy to obtain from used-book sellers and and which contains a wealth illustrations. It contains descriptions of many plants almost all of which would be hardy in Ontario.
