helllooooo my lovlies
few pics for you to hopefully identifyfor me:
this on was eaten last year by slugs but this year has flowered but not what i was expecting, any ideas on what it is please?

Looks like a Euonymus (deciduous type).

Probably Euonymus europeus or another of that section of the genus. The autumn colour is excellent, especially on slightly acidic soils and their fruits are quite attractive too with scarlet carpels splitting to reveal an orange aril covering the seeds.
