Can anyone identify this plant, it was in my garden when I moved in???help?? It's quite unusual and everyone stops to look at it.

I though Lambs Lugs was Stachys lanata? Thats the trouble with common names I suppose.

It is Verbascum bombyciferum

It does grow very tall.
