Hi there, the ground surrounding my eucolyptus tree is very bare. I'd like to spruce it up but can't dig a hole due to the roots of the tree being in the way. Any suggestions of what to grow that doesn't need too deep a hole? Thanks

Agree with Pam you are unlikely to get anything to grow round your eucalyptus with the roots being so near the surface. The tree will also be taking all the nourishment and moisture, bark mulch is probably your best bet.

Thanks! I will definitely put some bark down for a nice look.

I'm not sure much would grow, maybe a bark mulch would improve the look of the area
