I've diagnosed my laurel bushes with shot through disease (I hope that's the right name :0) but last year all my other bushes - blackcurrant, gooseberry, flowering raspberry and pyracantha were all badly affected. Could you please tell me what would help as they are now starting to look bad again this year?

If you mean shothole disease ,my book isn't terribly helpful in terms of treatments - the cause is either bacteria or fungal - if its fungal, worth spraying with a fungicide that professes to treat shothole, but you will have to be careful what you choose to use on your edible plants.

How do I say thanks?
