leaves on my gooseberry bush are beginning to curl and are very dry at the ends. Its not a caterpillar or lack of water. Please can you advise?

Could it be a burn of some sort,ie too much fertilizer perhaps, or some drift from a spray somewhere? Rather worrying - I hope the fruit isn't affected.
