The leaves on my cotyledon papillaris are dropping off one-by-one. Am I watering it too much? does it need replanting?

this plant likes a south facing windowsill in winter, with little watering, but once summer comes, it needs to be moved out of hot sun. Needs normal houseplant watering during spring and summer, but very little in winter. Not sure what you're doing with yours, or where you have it positioned.
