Over to you Bamboo

Answers

First one's the aforementioned Berberis, could be ottawensis or Rose Glow, bototm one's Berberis thunbergii atropurpureum, probably 'nana', but only if its thorny, and looks like something different in front of it, not sure about the climber.

Well don't laugh, Dylandog, but I've been doing transcription work (typing from audio or shorthand) since I was 16, and am not only fast but also accurate - though clearly not all the time, lol

I'm not laughing. I was a medical secretary so I too used audio and shorthand and had to be accurate, but I still made mistakes (none that cost any lives thank goodness)..lol

Is the climber a clematis, Bamboo ?
I can see a couple of nice fat flower buds that look just like the right shape, so too those leaves and tendrils ?

Suppose it could be, but the leaves don't look right for clematis - bit too shiny - we'll know more when those flowers open, though currently, they bear a strong resemblance to bindweed flowers...

How do I say thanks?
