Could anyone help me understand why one of two blister cress gold shot plants planted next to each other is dyeing?

this could be due to something eating the roots of one but not the other. did you by them in pots this year? if yes then probably vine weevil. If bought in pots perhaps one has better soil depth ie no stones when you planted them out. could you have hoed around them and damaged the roots of one.
