I found a large light green catterpillar on one of my white lupins. I put it on a bush nearby. Will it be O.K? because I don't want it eating my lupins. I like catterpillars, so I have no intention of killing it.
Will it be alright on the bush?
Thanks in advance

« My corkscrew hazel leaves are very limp and folded in on themselves. Is this normal?...
Next question
Most caterpillars will eat a range of plants though these generally tend to be within the same plant group/family with a couple of exceptions. The "bush" will probably not be suitable I am afraid unless it's a Piptanthus or other shrubby Pea.
