Can u tell what are the red insects on my Turks cap and how to get rid of them.

I'd guess at that too. pick them off by hand. they will try to drop off as well so hand underneath the leaf before trying to get them with your other hand. then stand on them.
check under the leaves for 1-2mm long reddy brown eggs. if there is a 'dollop' of black slimy bird poo looking stuff they are the grubs so they also need wiping off/squishing. thoroughly disgusting.

beetles have the biggest amount of diversity of any insect which is quit substantial .

Are the grubs good for putting on the bird table? I don't want to hex my lilies but I've never come across these beetles.

Thanks for that Steragram! Do the grubs move quickly or will they stay put waiting for the pigeon's daily visit? (Though I add that I haven't been troubled by grubs yet)

Thegrubs are probably under the leaves I have this problem with mine but funnily enough last year my martagon lily flowered for the first time in a couple of years and I didnt see any but this year my lily has been eaten again and the flowers eaten :(
