I am trying to establish a wild flower mini meadow but my yellow rattle plants have gone to seed already, will they flower again this year?

I don't think that will work if this year is anything to go by, before I bought the plug plants I had 200 seeds and not one of them has come up.

I believe they need poor unimproved soil to flourish so perhaps you could try collecting some seed and trying to germinate it in some poor soil? I'd put a grass root with it as they are parasitic.

No yellow rattle, Rhinanthus minor, is an annual so you'll need to leave the seeds to fall so that it will grow again next year.
