what bedding plants are least likely to be attractive to slugs and snails and dont mind dry conditions ? cathypea

Slugs didn't seem to care for my busy lizzies last year and a few years back I put in some type of marigolds with kind of stiff petals (sorry, can't remember the name) and they weren't fussed for them either.
