Bulbs

I removed bulbs as I had a driveway built and have nowhere to plant them. Can they be left in a dry garage until I build planters in August? Do I wash the soil from the bulbs before storing them? Thank you for your time.

Yes, probably, depends on what they are. Daffodils and tulips and Crocus would survive, Snowdrops and Bluebells would not.
No, rub the soil off, so the bulb stays dry, rather than washing them. Then store cool and dark until you are ready to deal with them.

Can you simply put the bulbs in dry compost in a bucket or even a plastic bag?

I would imagine that the bulbs would rot in a plastic bag, its best to dry them off on a tray with compost.

How do I say thanks?
