why doesn't my golden hop grow. its in the sun and just doesnt want to grow and it look quiet pathetic.

Are the roots unwound from the way they were in the pot. Did you loosen the soil so the hole the plant went into was 1-2 times the size of the pot it came from.
it sounds as if the roots are not getting into the soil properly.
