You can try to dig them out, poison them with Roundup. If any bits are left they regrow from a tiny piece. At the moment ,because it is semi under control, I pull them from as far down as I can reach and put any root that comes up in the rubbish bin. There is no sure fire way of getting rid of bindweed completely. Sorry Sunshines. Have a look at the alphabetical section at the bottom of the page to see if any suggestions that might help.

I agree, dig it up and then keep an eye on the area as soon as you see some pull it up. Dont put it in the compost
