What is this tree? It was growing near the river at the Chateau of Le Lude yesterday (June 5th). Leathery dark green leaves and panicles of white flowers. Very beautiful.

I'll need to go back there to take a close-up. But it's only 15km or so. Thanks for the suggestion, Fractal, I'll google some pics and see if it looks similar.

Looks a little like Ligustrum lucidum but I need a close up of the flowers. Any chance Bertie?
