My climbing french beans seem to be growing well, but as they climb the leaves wilt and curl inwards, and the edges gradually get dry and brittle. Meanwhile the shoots keep climbing and new leaeves look OK. The leaves remain green even when wilted - they don't go chlorotic. Is it likely to be a mineral deficiency, or is there a pest or virus at work.

Our beans have the same problem. It's a disease that beans are very susceptible to. Unfortunately I don't know how to treat it.
