I planted lisbon spring onions in well prepared ground, with a light cover( 1inch ) of compost. 90%plus germination.
Shot up to 1 1/2 to 2inches three weeks ago. Have had water, warmth and a little gentle fertalizer BUT still only the same size. Question why?

I wouldn't feed 'em. They probably don't need it. It is a little warm for some of the hardier veg. I've had all sorts of moans from local allotment holders re the poor germination, the lack of growth etc. Be patient, they'll suddenly get going, I don't doubt.
