My daughter wants to know what bedding plants to put in her very small garden. She has a young baby who is at the crawling stage and putting things in mouth stage. I have bought some marigolds for her which I know are ok. I have also bought her some nemesia which I am not sure about. Can anyone me any advice.

Nasturtiums will work a treat though as both flowers and leaves are edible, Borage, though she is unlikely to get this as a bedding plant, Cornflowers. Then she could plant sedums, not a bedding plant will keep going for years.

Take a look at zinnias.....you would have to check about toxicity but they are lovely annuals and will bloom right up to the frosts. Come in a wide variety of colours and bloom their socks off.
