Can anyone please tell mw what plant this is?
I have recently come back from a holiday in Lake Garda, Italy, and this plant was growing and climbing everywhere! it smelt and looked amazing. Any ideas? and also would it grow in a chilly scottish climate?

Yes, this plant is Trachelospermum jasminoides (Star Jasmine) not a true Jasmine but related to plants like Stephanotis and Hoya. It can be grown in this country on a warm and sunny south facing wall for best results. It should be available in many garden centres.
