I bought a salix arbuscula and it seemed fine t first, in a pot in the garden. However, all the leaves are rapidly turning black. Why? Can I rescue it? thank you for any advice.

Only 2 green leaves left! Gardening friend came to look and diagnosed black canker. Probably no hope - just one of those unlucky pots. Thanks for your interest - I appreciate it. T.
