I have a ditch at the bottom of my garden beyond which is a farmers field - The farmer is happy for me to extract resonable amounts of water.
My question:- is it safe to use this ditch water on my garden? Probably wouldn't use it on any plants I eat e.g rhubarb etc.
I would appreciate any comments - thank you, David

If there are plants, grass or weeds adjacent to the ditch then it should be no problem for plants in the garden - but I wouldn't drink it!
