the apples split and the leaves has got brown spots on them

If the apples have black scabby marks on them before they split then it could be apple scab. This is a fungus that would also affect the leaves and it overwinters on the fallen leaves ready to strike again in the spring. On the fruit the black scabs can restrict the stretching of the skin as the fruit grows which is what causes it to split.
You could google some images to compare with your tree, if you think that is what it is then it can be controlled with a fungus fighting spray, it is also most important to clear all of the fallen leaves in the winter.
