I have a Camelia in a large pot which was covered in masses of buds this year in clusters of 4-6. Lots dropped off but the flowering was amazing. Next year can I thin out the buds and do they suffer if pot bound. I am thinking of transferring it to the garden, when is the best time to do it.

« I have had this plant for 3 seasons, and as not produced any blossom what is the problem.
Next question
everything suffers from being potbound eventually (except palms!). Plant it in September or October, but make sure you pick a spot that doesn't get early morning sun in winter. Either that or give it a bigger pot now the flowers are finished.
