Hi everyone, i am creating a border on the south facing aspect of my garden and need to improve the soil, i have got ideas of what to do but would be interested to know what you would do also. The topsoil is quite sandy and stoney that we used to fill a large area that was previously a greenhouse site (previous owners) in the garden and now want to create a border for planting. The border will be approximately 2 to 3 ft deep and straight across the bottom fence, thanks.

I envy your plot there, it really lends itself to Mediteranean type planting, you could go with the freedraining adding more gravel for example, and being in full sun aswell its perfect for being creative... I'm excited for you!
