Full sun is best - not sure what you mean by 'replant' are you saying you're digging one up and moving it? If so, you will need to keep it extremely well watered, otherwise wait till autumn/fall to move it. Even if its in a pot currently and you plant, will need regular supplies of water till its settled in.

Lavender are very easy from cuttings taken around now.
