I am trying to grow courgettes the plant has grown very tall but is not bearing fruit. I have watered it regularly and fed it.

Is it flowering? You have to wait until there are both male and female flowers on it before any fruit forms and they don't do this straight away. You can tell which are the female ones because they have a tiny immature little courgette behind the flower even before theya re fertilised.
