I have a laburnum tree for four years. It has only bloomed every other year since I got it i.e bloomed last year but not this year. Tree appears to be healthy with good foliage. Is this normal or any suggestions as to why it has not bloomed. Many thanks

Sometimes flowering trees don't bloom the same each year especially if they bloomed profusely the year before. You don't always know, with a tallish tree, if something has attacked it and caused it to blossom poorly. My large Hawthorn hardly put up any blossom last year but this year it has gone mad.

How do I say thanks?
