Im looking for a decent Kniphofia. I want something that is vibrant and stands out among other summer flowering herbaceous, not too tall, flowers for a long time and is very hardy. Don't want anything that looks a mess either.
I have a few of the 'popsicle' series but they're only young and quite small. I've looked at 'Elvira', 'triangularis' and 'Nancy's red'
Any personal suggestions ?

Thanks for that....yeah Timothy is lovely. I like the popsicle series, especially mango popsicle but they really are a front of border plant.

For orange-red flowers you can't beat Timothy or Wol's Red Seedling. Neither are huge (70-80cm) and they are multiheaded. Timothy will repeat flower but Wol's RS has a single flush.
These are older varieties and rather more robust than the Popsicles.
