My crabapple tree has brown spots on the leaves and some turn completely brown and then fall off. Can anyone tell me how to treat this condition?

Spray with Copper Sulphate (Bordeaux mixture) or a suitable systemic fungicide. It sounds like Apple scab which is not uncommon on Crab apples.

Thanks so much for the info. I assume the Copper Sulphate is save for flowers as I have several planted under the crapapple tree.

We have a lot of flowers under our Apple trees and none of them have suffered from fall out from spraying with Copper sulphate.
