I need a plant recommendation. I'm looking for a cold-hardy (I'm in zone 7b), tropical-looking, sturdy plant for a turtle enclosure. Every winter I have to dig up plants and bring them in, and without a greenhouse and with poor interior lighting (plus plant-aggressive cats and dogs), I suffer quite a few losses. I have plenty of palms (chusan palms, needle palms, etc.) so I'm not looking for another palm. Any suggestions would be most appreciated! Thanks!

Euonymus varieties will tolerate those temperatures, but they're not exactly tropical! Only other thing might be Fatshedera lizei - evergreen cross between Hedera and Fatsia, which will tolerate down to Zone 7, but needs some support.
