I have a young pear tree (dwarf ) it is in its 2nd year of fruiting, the bark on some of the branches have split,Probably due to the heavy frost last winter, is there anything i should do? any adverse effects known?

It maybe that last year it was allowed to dry out for a long time, then when water then sudden up rush of water split the young bark. This normal shows the following year
