I have a pasiflora growing in a pot and up the side of a shed. I am about to move and would like to take it with me and need to know the best way to do this.

Thank you

Hi, welcome to GoY, as it's in a pot the roots won't be damaged, that's the good news, unfortunately these should only be pruned when necessary, and then in early spring, but if you want to move it, you will have to cut it back to a manageable size, it will send new growth out, but the new growth may not be hardened enough before winter, and may be damaged by.frost.
I think the best thing to do after you have moved, would be to plant it in the ground, plant it about 2 inches lower than it is in the pot, so that if it is damaged by frost, it may shoot again from below soil level, Derek.

I would carefully pull all the growth away from the side of the shed, put this in a large bag and carefully transport it next to the pot to it's new location. Once there, situate the pot where you want it and carefully unravel the plant around the new climbing frame. You might lose a bit of the plant as the shoots break quite easily if they are folded, but with care you will be able to save most, if not all of the vine.

As Derek said, you have an advantage because the plant is in a pot.

How do I say thanks?
