my peony plants hardly flower at all. Just lots of leaves really. Can you advise of best position for flowering and could I dig them up and pot? Please help!

Kind regards,

Hi, welcome to GoY, it sounds as though they are planted too deep, when the leaves die back in autumn, dig them up and replant, firm the soil ensuring that the tubers arejust slightly proud of the firmed soil, the tubers need to be frosted to change the leaf buds into flower buds, do this and I can almost guarantee that they will flower better next year, Derek.
