Unless one is well mentored in harvesting edible mushrooms in the wild or in the garden for that matter, the prudent thing to do would be to harvest them at your local grocery.

I stand corrected snoop, our mycology lecturer encouraged us to collect and eat them, perhaps he was telling us something ;o)
there were very few he gave us carte blanche over.
