This multi. stemmed poppy was a cutting from an ordinary single stemmed poppy. Is this natural and can anyone tell me how I can propogate it.

i have never seen this before maybe the original single stem got broken early in the growing season, save some seeds from the plant and plant next year see what happens in 12 months time.
