My crocosmia grow in pots in full sun. They are getting bigger. I had lovely flowers last year but none this year. The leaves are speckled and dying. Do I water more? less? Cut down in winter? Do I leave them in the pots? Help!

Recommended time for Crocosmia is Spring - but I've done it any time I feel like it, so long as they're not in flower. I think they do best divided in spring though.

Crocosmias spread quite quickly - its likely they're potbound, so you need to turn them out, split and replant. Don't separate the long 'strings' of corms though, sometimes they have several corms one below another at the bottom.
