Phlox paniculata?

I'd agree its a Phlox. nice colour but it looks a little dry. Give it a good watering.

Its in a friends garden, l know the leaves are wilted but they didnt look to me like Phlox leaves although the flowers do l agree......could it possibly be anything else?

It's hard to see the leaves clearly, looks as if the pic's been taken in the dark with a flash, but the leaves look to be phlox leaves badly affected by drought and possibly mildew, though they do also have the somewhat puzzling appearance of bean pods... a picture in daylight might be helpful.

the 'bean pods' look like the dry/curling leaves of the phlox.
several of mine look like this. We've been away and it hadn't rained at all.
