Why has my 4 year old Phornium turned almost completely yellow while sporting a magnificent bloom of seeds ? The centre looks quite healthy.

I'm somewhat confused - a "magnificent bloom of seeds". Do you mean it had loads of flowers, and that those flowers are now all turned to seed? As for the yellow leaves, where is it growing, pot or ground?
