.Hydrangeas
About 4 or five years ago I took cuttings and they are now about 4 .foot . high and are beautiful. Unfortunately I have to move them. When would be the best time to do this, should I cut them back and what should I add to the soil where I want to re-plant them

They sound quite big bushes so make sure you take a decent amount of soil with the root ball. You could cut them back but I think they flower on this years growth so you may lose next years blooms. I would prob move them in the autumn or spring but water in well and put some bone meal in the hole for the roots to get established. Good Luck!
