If there's a particular place your dog likes to go, put a small fence there - Henry kept dashing across my scree bed, so I put a small piece ot that wicker fold-up trellis there, and he doesn't jump over it...he could, as it's only 1' high. Otherwise, praise and reward, and a training programme...I have a sharp phrase I use with H. if he does put one paw over the edge into my borders - 'On the grass!'...and he does. Then he gets a reward. I hope it helps....good luck.

I found that a stern "Off" worked after 2 or 3 times. It worked in the park too when we said "Go round " with an appropriate hand gesture when they were about to plough through an island bed !
