what compost do I put acers in?

Answers

I presume you mean Japanese Acers? They will happily grow in any multi-purpose compost especially if they have a little extra added loam. Some people swear by Ericaceous compost which can be used but it starts relatively low in nutrients compared to most planting mediums so liquid feeding is usually needed from the off.
