having grown a lemon tree from a pip it is now about three years old and is relatively healthy, and stands 77cm tall. Having grown it from a pip is it correct that it won't flower? i feed the tree citrus feed. would like your comments.

No, it's not true that it won't flower. It may be several years though before you get flowers and fruit. I have grown lemons and Oranges...come to think of it Grapefruit too from pips when I was a kid and they always seems to grow better than any bought ones. However, they are of course not named forms so are variable and may take as said above a while before flowering.
