Welcome, Treebaby!
Is it an old rose variety, or one of the once-blooming Meidilands? Many of these form flower buds in the fall for bloom next spring, and an early spring pruning cuts off the future bloom. Also, in my experience, most roses need at least 4 hours of direct sun each day to bloom.

Is it planted in the ground or in a pot? In sun or shade? And what are you feeding with? any idea which rose it is?
