Can I replant a monkey puzzle tree it's about 6 foot in height and two close to a building ??

well if you got to move it then give it a go anyway . just dig up as much soil as possible and give it some tlc and bamboo is right about timing . don't hold your breath though .

Hi there you need to bear in mind that this tree can grow to 40m tall in its native Chile - it also requires sun and moisture.

Its mature width can be 15 metres too so if you move it put it somewhere that will allow for this.

At that height, its probably been in the ground longer than 3 years, unless it was a large specimen when you planted it. Any tree that's been planted more than 3 years is difficult to move successfully because of the wide root spread and the strong possibility that many of its roots will be broken. If its been in 2 years or less, then you can have a go, but best wait till late autumn or early winter (and wear goggles, gloves and protective clothing).
