Can I replant a monkey puzzle tree it's about 6 foot in height and two close to a building ??

Answers

At that height, its probably been in the ground longer than 3 years, unless it was a large specimen when you planted it. Any tree that's been planted more than 3 years is difficult to move successfully because of the wide root spread and the strong possibility that many of its roots will be broken. If its been in 2 years or less, then you can have a go, but best wait till late autumn or early winter (and wear goggles, gloves and protective clothing).

well if you got to move it then give it a go anyway . just dig up as much soil as possible and give it some tlc and bamboo is right about timing . don't hold your breath though .

Hi there you need to bear in mind that this tree can grow to 40m tall in its native Chile - it also requires sun and moisture.

Its mature width can be 15 metres too so if you move it put it somewhere that will allow for this.
