Could be Galtonia seed heads too.

It is a seed pod. Could be a lot of plants tbh - you must have seen the plant that you took them off?

Pansy seed pod:)

I agree Botanic. A picture of the plant that they came from would be far more helpful to identify what they are. Any chance of a picture of the plant Tanya?

Hey! I'll take a picture today and post it, however, after googling the flowers from the suggestions, it's an agapanthus! Thank you for the help!
So, do you think they're not 'ripe' enough to keep to sew? Also, if I was to save these, what would I need to do? I was planning on letting them dry out a bit and then putting them in envelopes? Is that right? Or would it be worth planting the seeds from inside the pods and seeing what happens?

If the seeds are black inside the pods (but usually the pods are brown before the seeds are ripe), then follow the instructions for sowing Allium seeds as replied to on your Allium question.

?Agapanthus seed heads, not ripe though. Or Iris seed heads perhaps.
