1. My bougainvillea, in a container, only had 1 bract this year. Why.
2. My greenhouse has been inundated with red spider mite. I have tried garlic smokes, twice, but no effect.
Is there a smoke that will get rid of them please.

Can't help with the Bourgainvillia but red spider is easily controlled by spraying the leaves with water. RSM hate moisture and humidity. Also, they can prey on plants that are stressed through being dried out or starved. I neglected my Datura last year (RSM love Datura) and had them literally falling off the leaves. This year the plants have been fed and watered properly and not a single RSM
