Is himalayan balsam harmful to human like causing skin irritation if so what treatment and adivce can you suggest

This is one plant that you must eradicate because it is a nuisance ! It is taking over our rivers & canals and spreading like wild fire. I do not know if it cause a skin irritation but it is best to pull it all up with gloves on maybe !
